These sessions are for childminders to interact with each other and their children and learn in a group setting how best to implement the EYFS.

 

The coordinators can also help with any CM issues they may have and help with their policies and portfolio.

 

  • Full daycare

 

  • Wrap-around care (taking children to and from playgroup or nursery).

 

  • Before and after school care

 

  • Community minding (services sponsored by Social Services, SureStart or Home Start).

 

  • Out of hours childminding e.g. early mornings and overnight

 

  • Educational places where the childminder is accredited to receive grant funding this requires an additional assessment.
